A gouache painting on paper of a desert landscape after Roderic O’Connor. This painting depicts a desert landscape with large formations under a cloudy blue sky. To the verso, an inscription in black ink reads ‘Roderic O’Connor (Irish, 1860-1940)‘. This piece is signed by an unknown hand ’R. O’Connor’ to the lower left and is presented on a board without a frame.
Condition
- to fair; paper has tears along the top of the composition as well as the bottom edge; the board has mildew; the left edge of the board is worn along the edges and upper left corner; heavy water damage to the verso.
