An abstract oil painting on board titled 10 by listed abstract artist Henry Kallem (New York; 1912 – 1985). This piece depicts two gradients in pink rendered as trapezoids. A deep green triangle is present to the upper portion of the composition. This piece is signed and titled to the verso in black ink. Presented unframed.

Henry Kallem was born in Pennsylvania. He began his artistic studies with his father, Morris Kallem, who was a portrait painter. Kallem received formal training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the National Academy of Design in New York City. He exhibited at the 1939 New York World’s Fair and won first prize at the Pepsi Cola Exhibition of 1947. Kallem’s work can be found in museums and galleries such as the Corcoran Galleries in Washington as well as private collections.
