Three Vintage Postmortem Silver Gelatin Photographs of Children
Item Details
Three original silver gelatin postmortem photographs of little children from the early to mid-20th century. The photographs are each mounted on thick card stock substrate. One depicts a boy lying in his coffin, wearing a white sailor playsuit, surrounded by flowers; the next depicts a toddler lying in his or her cradle, wearing a white gown, on a bed of fluffy white fur; the last depicts a three or four-year-old girl lying in her small coffin, wearing a white dress, a large bouquet of flowers at her feet. These pieces are all unframed.
