Two Vintage Wood Case Mantle Clocks
Item Details
A pair of vintage wood case mantle clocks. The larger is an electric Hamilton Sangamo clock, Model L-2850, Type A, Style 5705, designed in a Neoclassic mode in a mahogany, with a silver metal face with black Arabic numerals, brass bezel, and black and blue open hands. The clock is supported by a pair of turned side columns, with an inlaid pedestal and tiered beveled platform base. The smaller clock is a windup Gilbert Art Deco model, with ‘tombstone’ curved case in walnut, the clock having an off white face with black Arabic numerals and black hands, and a brass bezel.
Condition
-untested, vintage condition, small chip to top edge of Gilbert, finish wear, discoloration to Gilbert face
