An oil painting on board of a Tonalist landscape, created by listed twentieth-century American artist Eden Blakelock. This work features a pond surrounded by leafy trees and overgrown foliage portrayed with loose painterly brushstrokes. The painting is signed to the lower left and presented in a gold-tone wood frame with a low-relief textural pattern.

- to fair; stains and residue throughout composition; some paint loss in lower left; wear to frame including scratches, chips, stains, and discoloration throughout; lower right corner of frame needs securing; remnants of paper backing to the verso; stains throughout verso.
