Large Hand-Knotted Floral Medallion Rug
Item Details
A large hand-knotted floral medallion area rug. The ru features a large central oval medallion in bright greens, surrounded by garlands of leaves on a pale yellow field. An inner field border repeats the foliate pattern in bright green, with a primary border having a classical Concave shape to the corners with pale green leaf elements surrounding. The rug is framed by a bright green band, having hand-tied and plaited cotton warp fringe to each end. Unmarked.
