A machine woven Persian-style medallion area rug. The rug features an ornate floral medallion to the center of the field, in a palette of ruby indigo, teal, olive and taupe on a field of a teal green. It has ornate floral and foliate spandrels in the medallion colors, and the field is framed by a ruby floral guard border. he wide primary border features stylized palmettes in the same colorway. The edges are serged and the ends refinished in applied, sewn wool fringe. Unmarked.
