A silver gelatin photograph developed from the negative taken by contemporary German photographer, Garry Seidel (Berlin/New York; 20th/21st century). The image displays an atmospheric, haunting depiction of an angel tombstone sculpture in a cemetery, in which the celestial creature lays across the burial marker, clutching the edge with one hand and covering her face in despair with the other. Artist signature is signed in silver tone ink to the interior lower right corner of the black mat behind which the photograph is mounted. This work is protected behind glass in a wood frame with a silver tone cast border.
