A 1949 Seth Thomas Westminster Chime mantel clock. This 8-day quarter hour mantel bracket clock is in the Legacy-2W design with a mahogany finish. It features a stepped base, a white paper dial with black Roman numerals, angel ornamentation to the corners, a glass door, and 124 series chime movements with back chime control. The clock is marked to the dial ‘Seth Thomas’ and features a warranty and instruction guide to the interior back panel including the date stamp ‘4901’ indicating the date of production as January 1949.

Condition

- cracking to finish and surface scratches throughout; hour hand is detached from dial but is included; wear to metal handle; untested.
