A British Navy-themed chest. This wooden box features an oversized, hinged lid with the Cormorant-class ship-sloop H.M.S. Wanderer decorative medallion with border, over ‘For King and Country, Capt. Thos. Mc.Bain’ and other painted decorations on panel sides, resting on a plinth base. The interior is painted.
