A pair of Bronze Age comics from the publisher D.C. This pairing contains issue 1 (July 1977) of the first series of Shade The Changing Man which also marks the first appearance of the character and issue 140 (March 1976) of The House of Secrets which covers the origins of the character Patchwork Man who was inspired by Frankenstein’s Monster. Both comics are held in protective plastic sleeves and are further supported with cardboard backings.
Condition
- to fair; various degrees of light to moderate wear to the spines and covers of the comics; various degrees of discoloration and color cracks on the covers; page yellowing and clipped cover on House of Secrets issue; both comics are protected from further wear by being held in plastic sleeves and the issue of The House of Secrets being further supported with a cardboard backing.
