Pierre le Faguays Bronze "Olympia" Sculpture
Item Details
An excellent bronze after a design by beloved French Art Deco sculptor Pierre Le Faguays (1892-1962) seemingly titled Olympia and cast by Verrier, Paris. Signed beneath the left foot with his alternate signature ‘Fayral’ and stamped by the foundry, the piece depicts the graceful motion of a simple leap, in Le Faguays’ signature style. Mounted on a tiered stone base, which is felted on the bottom.
