An original 2006 abstract Color Field acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati artist Phyllis Rinaldi. The image is nearly entirely comprised of saturated cadmium red paint, applied directly to the canvas. Artist signature is signed to the lower right. This work is mounted behind a white composite liner in a black composite frame with a wire to the verso. Rinaldi is a multimedia artist and hairstylist who studied at the University of Cincinnati and has exhibited across the city.
