"Carte Du Gouvernement De Bretagne" Hand-Colored Map
Item Details
A circa 1791 antique hand-colored lithograph map of France’s Brittany region by Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) and printed by J. Arrivet. The piece is titled ‘Carte Du Gouvernement De Bretagne’ to the lower left corner. It was taken from a printing of Atlas Moderne published by Lattre & Delalain of Paris. The map is matted in red and tan linen and presented under glass in a decorative gold tone frame with hanging wire to the verso. - small punctures to foam backing board; foxing and discoloration to print with age; loose joints to frame.
