1974 “Pep Comics” Issue #17 Reprint

A June 1974 reprint of issue #17 of Pep Comics comic book. This comic is a ‘Flashback’ Special Edition reprint of issue #17 and was published in June of 1974. The original printing of this issue, published in June 1941, introduced the hero called The Hangman. The Pep Comic series was known for introducing the characters Archie and Jughead who would later star in the Archie franchise. The comic is held in a plastic bag.
Condition
- moderate wear to the spines and covers of the comic; heavy staining on the back of the cover; mild discoloration; comic is protected from further wear by being held in a plastic bag.
