A hand-colored etching on paper. This work depicts a map of Devonshire, England. The piece is marked ‘Drawn & Engraved for Dugdales England & Wales Delineated’ to the lower margin. It is presented behind a mat, under glass in a frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.
Condition
- map has mild foxing; vertical creases; a puncture in top center of backing; vertical and horizontal cuts throughout backing; adhesive is toning.
