Carvalhinho Porto Covered Dish from Portugal

Item Details

A hand-painted Portuguese soup tureen. This piece has an octagonal footed bowl with scrolled handles on either side and a fitted lid with a decorative finial on top. The entire piece is hand painted a multicolored lyre and floral design and is marked underneath with a green stamp ‘Carvalhinho – Porto – CF’, ‘P_78’, and ‘Portugal’.
