1859 Dyed Textile Mounted on Woven Cloth
Item Details
A dyed textile mounted on woven cloth. This piece depicts two women that are dress in mid-nineteenth century attire walking in a garden with the date of 1859 in red and white bunting below. The piece is presented in a slim black wood frame, under glass, with a wood backing board, and unfastened hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- wear to finish on corners; some fraying to backing; one end of wire out of frame.
