Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Plates and Scalloped Bowl

A lovely grouping of antique Chinese Famille Verte porcelain pieces. Combining sophisticated colors and motifs, the plates include one decorated with green dragons and pale red motifs (cracked and repaired); one with bucolic garden scene with fantastic kohlrabi plants, pole gong, peony flower, and dragonflies, and accented by subtle scalloped edge; larger plate with deep green pair of dragons and three orange discs; and finally, a quadrefoil-shaped scalloped bowl with stylized trunk, censer, and urn decoration, along with Chinese character accents. All pieces have recessed glazed bases with orange red Chinese maker marks; the plates also have red orange decorative motifs to the exterior.
