Framed Hand-Colored Etching "West Riding of Yorkshire"
Item Details
A framed hand-colored etching on paper titled West Riding of Yorkshire. This map depicts the main roads and cities in a county in northern England. Publishing information reading ‘Published December 1, 1794, by Stockdale Piccadilly’ is present to the lower middle margin. Mounted under a single layer of beige matting, the print is presented under glass in a red and gold tone wood frame with sawtooth hardware present to verso. The frame is covered in shrink wrap.
Condition
- could benefit from spot cleaning; plastic wrap on Yorkshire is ripped open on left and right center areas; residue on plastic bottom left corner.
