Collection of Carnival Chalkware Figurines
Item Details
A collection of seven pieces of carnival chalkware from the early to mid 20th century. There is one hanging plate which shows a woman wearing a hat in silhoutte. The other pieces are stand-alone figurines of animals, people, and a fireplace and hearth. Each piece is hand painted, and the decorative plate has an eye hook at its top for hanging.
Condition
- Damage to the base of the duck
- flaking on the paint on all pieces
- Chipmunk figure has some damage to the faces
- Statue of the little boy has damage to his hat
