American Sterling Silver Tableware Feature Gorham
Item Details
An assortment of sterling tableware. This assortment is composed of four spoons from different American companies, a mug with a sterling surface from Reed & Barton in 1940 and a glass ash receiver with a sterling frame from Gorham in 1911. The maker’s marks are stamped the sides or undersides of the pieces with the spoons having been made by R. Wallace & Sons, Mechanics Sterling Company and from Joseph Meyer and Brothers. The total approximate weight, excluding the ash receiver, is 5.495 ozt.
Condition
- scratches on the bottom of the ash receiver; various degrees of light to moderate surface wear and tarnish present on the pieces.
