Two Moose Bones with Evidence of Healed Break

Item Details

A moose (Alces alces) leg bone and pelvis with evidence of healing after breaks. The massive leg bone features a bulbous, calcified area of repair, likely caused from a serious break. Within the regrowth, the channel for the tibia is present, further evidence the leg healed around the secondary bone. The pelvis shows fusing to the top left portion, indicating some sort of significant trauma.
