Six Vintage and Antique Glass Food Containers

A collection of six vintage and antique glass food containers. The lot includes two milk jars, one of which is marked "For Health and Economy DRINK MILK." It also includes two honey jars with embossed honeycomb patterns and original metal lids. One is marked "Lake Shore Honey," and one has volumetric measurements marked to one side. The lot also includes an 8 oz. bottle for Jumbo Jane imitation vanilla flavoring with a screw-top lid and paper label, manufactured by The Newton Mfg. Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. The final piece in the lot is a large gallon glass jar for Costa sweet cider, produced in Highland New York. The jar has a screw-top lid and a paper label.
Condition
- vanilla jar has residue within. Honey jars’ metal lids have extensive rusting and wear.
