A vintage rotogravure reproduction print after the original drypoint etching by well-listed American genre artist Reinhold H. Palenske (California/Illinois; 1884 – 1954), titled Temptation, published by Brown & Bigelow. The image depicts two men on horseback leaping over a split-rail fence during the heat of a hunt, watching as their pack of dogs are distracted by a nearby rabbit. Title and artist signature are printed in plate to the lower margin. This print is mounted under black mat, under glass in a narrow rounded wood frame with a black finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- discoloration across print. Finish of frame is worn.
