Antique U.S. Military Canteen With Leather Shoulder Strap
Item Details
An antique U.S. military canteen with cloth covering. Stenciled ‘U.S.’ in black faded letters, this old relic retains its original leather shoulder strap. The leather shoulder strap still has its metal fasteners and buckles attached. This United States Army canteen is a light olive green in color and has its original cork stopper with chain. The canteen dates from the Spanish-American War (1898) to World War I (1917-1918).
Condition
Pre-owned. Relic exhibits some discoloration, soiling, and stains. The leather strap is dry and brittle. The metal fasteners depict some age pitting from oxidation.

When extended, the canteen with shoulder strap measures 20" tall.
