A signed 1979 limited edition lithograph with hand-coloring after the original pen & ink drawing by well-listed American artist Janet Kimberling (New Mexico/New York; born 1925). The image depicts a Native American woman gazing pensively as she braids her long, black hair. Artist signature is printed and dated in plate to the lower right, and hand-signed and numbered 21 in an edition of 100 in pencil to the lower left. This work is mounted under pale pastel blue mat, under glass in a narrow beveled wood frame with a gray-brown finish.
