A hand painted Popeye animation cel titled Dancing on the Beach, signed by animator Myron Waldman. It depicts Popeye sitting on a rock and playing the ukulele as Olive Oil dances in Hawaiian garb on a beach. Bluto secretly watches from greenery in the distance. The piece is hand numbered 89/250, as well as hand signed by Myron Waldman (1908-2006), a noted animator who worked on Betty Boop, Popeye, Superman, and numerous other cartoons over the course of five decades. The art comes in a protective plastic sleeve with a King Features certificate of authenticity and a picture of Waldman signing the piece.
