Gorham Sterling and Enamel Spoon and a Plique-à-Jour Spoon

A pairing of two sterling silver spoons one with plique-à-jour decorative enameling. The plique-à-jour spoon features black with cream enameling and is stamped with three consecutive hallmarks including an anchor, lion and the letter ‘X’. Also marked, ‘Made in England’ to the bowl. The other spoon featuring blue, red, black and white enamel was produced by American silver company Gorham and reads ‘Richmond, KY’ etched into the top of the bowl. Both spoons are marked as sterling. The total combined group weight inclusive of all non-metal material is approximately 0.80 ozt.
