A limited edition hand painted Popeye Themed animation cel titled Who Does Your Taxes, signed by Myron Waldman. It depicts the beloved cartoon sailor frantically trying to finish his taxes on April 15th with the help of a tax manual and an abacus adding machine. The piece is marked with a King Features logo and hand numbered ‘A.P. [artist’s proof] 7/10’, as well as hand signed by Waldman (1908-2006), a noted animator who worked on Betty Boop, Popeye, Superman, and numerous other cartoons over the course of five decades. The piece comes in a protective plastic sleeve with a Toon Art certificate of authenticity and an image of Waldman signing the piece.
