Salvador Dalí Second Edition Engraving on Paper "Autumn"
Item Details
A second edition restrike engraving on paper titled Autumn by well-listed artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989). In sparse linework, the piece depicts a woman in layers of elaborate clothing with a basket of fruit on her head. She is walking under the sun, accompanied by two putti. The work is signed in plate to the lower center, near the woman’s feet. Under a single layer of white mat, the item is presented under acrylic glass, in a gold toned metal frame. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue field 70-2 on page 56.
Condition
- small scratches to frame, discoloration to the corners of the mat; water stains to verso; frame loose in upper right and lower right corners; item examined out of frame.
