Six Vintage Jumbo Peanut Butter Jars

A collection of six glass jars for Jumbo Peanut Butter, circa 1930s. The jars were manufactured by Cincinnati’s prolific Frank’s Tea & Spice Co. Three of the jars have metal lids; two are vintage zinc lids and one is contemporary. The jars have a raised stripe surface texture with a portrait of an elephant and the brand’s name. The words "Jumbo Best for the Kiddies" are raised on the base of each jar.
