Red and Black Indian Kotgari Shield

An ornate black and red koftgari Indian shield. This red and black metal shield is adorned with foliate vine motif with a brass tone eight petal blossom at the center. The shield features four raised circles adorned with flowers with four copper rings on the reverse with leather straps.

Condition

- straps are broken; oxidation and wear to reverse of the shield.
