Signed Vintage Etching "Old Edinburgh - Browns Court, Canongate"
Item Details
A vintage etching on paper titled Old Edinburgh – Brown’s Court, Canongate, signed partially illegibly in pencil to the lower right by the artist, circa 1920. The image focuses on the Old World architecture and cobblestone walkways, with a small group of friends conversing with each other at the end of a tunnel. Blind stamps are embossed to the lower left margin. This print is mounted under off-white mat, under glass in a narrow wood frame with a black finish.
Condition
- notable discoloration across print and mat. Print is not securely mounted within frame. Finish of frame is worn.
