Late 19th Century G. Pochini Marble Bust of a Woman
Item Details
A late 19th century carved bust in marble signed to lower backside by artist Galileo Pochini (19th/20th century). The sculpture depicts a young woman adorned with traditional garb, her head is slightly turned away with eyes gazing off as in contemplation. The bust rests on a black marble plinth.
Condition
- bust is currently detached from plinth
- some cracking, chips and bites throughout.
