A beautiful hand-embroidered Persian-style velvet wall hanging. This handcrafted textile features a Persian mirhab, or prayer niche, having a large decorative double-handled urn with a large floral and foliate bouquet ornately embroidered in shimmering gold tone silk and cotton metallic thread on black velvet. The niche is framed by a delicate border of in-filled lobed leaves and is presented stretched over cardboard, awaiting your choice of presentation. Unmarked, but likely a handmade product of Persia or India.

- some loose threads, wear to velvet background especially at edges.
