A vintage German oil painting from 1947. The painting was done by an unknown German artist in Munich. The front left-hand corner of the painting reads ‘(artist name), München (Munich) 1947’ and the painting is titled on the back ‘Salzburg in Spring’. This work depicts a road, bordered by a wooden fence, surrounded by snowy hills with trees. The road leads to a single house that is set in front of a backdrop of the Alps.It is signed and dated in paint to the lower left corner and is set in a wooden frame. The frame includes hanging hardware to the verso.

- frame is scratched throughout; tape residue in lower left corner area of painting; handwritten note adhered to verso in lower right corner; ARTIAS.
