Circa 1841 Danish Wedding Chest

Item Details

A circa 1841 Danish wedding chest. This piece is constructed of pine with a painted sage finish and crimson accents. The hinged lid is arched, with metal brackets to the interior. To the front of the piece are painted markings reading ‘HW/FD/1841’. The piece is unfinished to the interior, has a scalloped skirt, and stands on bracket feet.
