A set of offset lithographs on paper after four from a series of original paintings titled Activities of the Twelve Months (十二月令图轴) depicting Chinese court scenes by different artists of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911), held in the National Palace Museum, Taipei. From left to right, the paintings are ‘10th Lunar Month’, ‘8th Lunar Month’, ‘11th Lunar Month’ and ‘2nd Lunar Month’. Under a red seal, each print depicts a vast landscape filled with trees, buildings filled with figures, mountains, and rivers. Each print is mounted on silkscreen floral matting, glass and presented in bamboo themed, gold tone frames. Sawtooth hardware is present to verso.
