Framed Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish accent rug. This rug renders a central Memling gul surrounded by four geometric boteh with a pattern similar to a tree of life in a field cinnamon red with geometric symbols at each corner. The rug offers a narrow primary border with a running water and barber pole patterns and an arched border at each end. The rug is finished with double overcast edges and a natural wool warp fringe at either end. This piece is unmarked and presented under glass in a black wood frame with D-rings to the reverse for hanging display.
