Antique Oil Painting on Canvas After Renoir
Item Details
An antique oil painting on canvas after Renoir. The painting is the depiction of a young girl in a white lace dress with curled golden brown hair as she holds a doll in a red dress in her arms. The painting is signed “Renoir 76” to the bottom right. The painting is encased in a highly carved gold tone baroque style frame. The paining is of the period and was restored by Gregory Stepkoff in 1970. At that time he transferred the paining to a fiberglass canvas so it is not necessary to keep it in a room with controlled temperature.
