A pair of hand-colored lithographs on paper from the portfolio a History of the Indian Tribes of North America by Thomas L. McKenney (1785-1859) and James Hall (1793-1868). Depicting the portraits of Ka-Na-Pi-Ma (An Ottowa Chief), and Major Ridge (A Cherokee Cheif). Both folios are printed and colored by J.T. Bowen, published by D. Rice and A.N. Hart, Philadelphia. The prints are unframed.
