A pairing of hand-colored lithographs on paper from the portfolio a History of the Indian Tribes of North America by Thomas L. McKenney (1785-1859) and James Hall (1793-1868). Depicting two tribal warrirors and titled Timpoochee Barnard (a Uchee Warrior) published by Rice, Rutter & Co. and Payta-Kootha (A Shawnoe Warrior), printed and colored by J.T. Bowen, published by D. Rice and A.N. Hart, Philadelphia. Both prints are unframed.
