An antique lieutenant’s hat from the British Royal Navy. This is an authentic lieutenant’s hat from the British Royal Navy. This hat is black with a formed frame and gold-tone accents. The case is a black metal with a label that reads ‘Lieut. C.F. Lambert R.N.’ Research suggests a correlation between this bicorne and the career of Admiral Sir Cecil Foley Lambert (1864-1928) who was promoted to the role of Lieutenant in 1888, no provenance is available, however.
