The image depicts a stoic concubine wearing fine jewelry and clothing, staring beyond the pictorial space as she holds a burning stick of incense in serene reverence. Wind carries her silken garments and camellia flowers poetically through the air. This work is mounted behind a cream silk mat, under glass in a faux bamboo cast frame.
