Vintage Brass Storage Cabinet for Catholic Mass
Item Details
A vintage brass storage cabinet, used to store hosts used in Catholic mass. The drum-shaped cabinet has a locking door on the front, featuring a raised image of a chalice holding a host, which is marked IHS, a Christogram representing the name ‘Jesus’. The interior of the cabinet has a white fabric curtain on a circular rod. The cabinet is not marked with a manufacturer’s name. Included with the cabinet is a heavy brass bell with a handle on the top. The bell is engraved with flowers and leaves. No maker’s marks.

- includes key for lock
- bell has wear to surface, oxidation
