A Sheraton-style fancy chair from Hitchcock Chair Co. This chair is a post-1946 reproduction of a 19th century chair by Lambert Hitchcock. It features a turned crest, slat and spindle back, and turned legs. The back and base are painted black with gold tone floral ornamentation. The chair is marked to the back of its seat ‘L. Hitchcock. HItchcocksville, Conn. Warranted. ®.’

Condition

- small white paint dots/splatters down the top and back of chair and onto the seat; paint chipped off throughout legs as well as side rails; small indentations throughout seat.
