Item Details

A fauteuil chair in hardwood by Ethan Allen. This chair includes an arched back crest with rounded shoulders leading into open arms with carved crest and arms in a rope pattern and the seat back including an inset upholstered cushion. The arms include inset upholstered rests and have fluted and foliate carved supports and surround an overstuffed seat cushion which rests over a carved seat rail in the same rope pattern with foliate corner blocks atop turned, fluted tapering legs ending in peg feet. The upholstery is in a burgundy and cream gingham and the chair is marked ‘Ethan Allen’ to the underside.
