A grouping of six vintage Wedgwood Baylor University collectible plates. In 1945, Baylor University in Waco, Texas commissioned Wedgwood to create a series of plates decorated with transferware scenes of campus buildings. Included here are six of these cream colored porcelain plates with raised floral trim. Buildings depicted are Georgia Burleson Hall, Old Main Building, Armstrong Browning Library, Woman’s Memorial Library, Tidwell Bible Building, and the Union Building. Each piece is marked with Wedgwood marks and the name of the building depicted.
