Odd Fellows Donkey Mask

Fantastic folk art piece. A paper mache donkey mask from an Odd Fellows Lodge, in a faded black paint with primitive cutout features outlined in white and red. This type of mask was made by Demoulin Masks in the 1920’s and 1930’s and was intended to be used in fraternal organization ceremonies.

wear to ear tips, overall wear and fading of paint, partial collapse to back at neck
